My Approach
An approach to creating space and cohesion – including, when needed, choosing the least-worst way to let things go.
Often, the pieces we love in our homes get overshadowed by things we’ve accumulated for practical reasons, but that never quite solved the problem or added anything to the space.
My approach is about bringing the loved pieces back into focus, and creating a home that feels considered, cohesive, and easy to live in.
I start by understanding what you already have – what’s working, what isn’t, what pleases you, what doesn’t. From there, I help reshape and refine your space so it feels more intentional and pulled together. Often, it’s not about starting again, but about seeing things differently – rearranging, editing, and making better use of what’s already there.
Where needed, I’ll introduce new pieces to complete the picture. These are chosen carefully to suit your style, your space, and your budget – with a focus on quality, longevity, and how everything works together as a whole.
Clearing out is part of the process too. Making space often means letting some things go – and that’s where my least-worst approach comes in. Wherever possible, I aim to rehome, donate, sell or recycle items thoughtfully, keeping waste to a minimum. It’s not about perfection, but about making considered choices that feel right.
The result is a home that feels resolved and calm – where the things you love can be seen, and everything has a place and a purpose.
